Floor  Edging

Floor EdgingTM
works because it is a moisture barrier, thermal barrier, and slip sheet that creates maximum flow capacity for moisture and separation at all points where floor meets walls and footings.

END WET BASEMENT PROBLEMS
STOP ENTRAPPED MOISTURE PROBLEMS

Forms edge of floor  at walls - block or poured wall

Separates edge of floor from walls - prevents attaching,
       moisture transfer and thermal transfer

Forms bottom side of floor at footing Separates bottom side of floor from footings- prevents attaching, floor shrinkage cracking, and moisture transfer

Floor edging can be used with expansion material

Floor EdgingTM - Floor Edging was designed to be used with concrete floor slabs of varying thickness (3" - 8"). Therefore, in most residential basement slabs of 4" thick, there would be about 1.5" of Floor Edging showing above the top surface of the finished floor. If the basement walls are going to be finished, we recommend not cutting the excess Floor Edging off. If the walls are not going to be finished and the homeowner objects to the Floor Edging showing, above the slab, it is a simple procedure to cut floor edging off at top of floor with a common roofer's knife.
